The Sketchbook project is the world’s largest collection of national and international artist sketchbooks, featuring 28,000 books created by thousands or artists representing approximately 100 countries.

This exhibit at the Ellendale Opera House features over 70 sketchbooks from this collection.

Unlike most exhibitions, this one is meant to be touched, held, flipped through. Viewers should take the time to look through the pages, feel the textures, and become engrossed in the thoughts/feelings/life that the artist poured into the pages.

The exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays during June.
