Works by two renowned photographers will be on display in the Ellendale Opera House Lobby & Gallery April 8 through 26.

"The Great Open: Photographs from North Dakota" is a collection of photographs by Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb.

The gallery will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays during April.

Alex is author of 15 books and his work has been displayed at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. 

Rebecca Norris Webb blends her work as a poet with photo imagery. 

The 'Great Open' exhibit consists of 23 large-format photographs of North Dakota landscapes, people and events.

The exhibit is part of the North Dakota Museum of Arts Rural Arts Initiative, which delivers and installs artwork for display in large and small communities across the state.
