Student art showcase coming in April

New exhibit coming Feb. 3

An art exhibit featuring four artists currently attending Trinity Bible College will open Friday, Feb. 3 at the Ellendale Opera House Lobby & Gallery.

Each artist is unique and creative in their own style. The artists are: Aubree Bohrer, Rachel Naylor, Alecia Underwood and Autumn Shamala.

The exhibit will be open on Fridays in February from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

New artist exhibit now open

Shannon Wirrenga works primarily with oils, and her work is inspired by lessons of faith and nature.

She enjoys painting people and lettering calligraphy, but also dabbles in photography and acrylic. Exhibit open Fridays from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. January from the 6 through January 20.

Paintings by Betty Sheldon coming in September

A new art exhibit featuring oil, watercolor and pastel paintings by Betty Sheldon will open Sat., Sept. 10 during Applefest in the Ellendale Opera House Lobby & Gallery.

The exhibit will be open on Fridays in September during the OPERA lunch hour from noon-5pm, and a reception to recognize the well-known local artist will be held from 5-6pm Thursday, Sept. 8 in the Lobby & Gallery. Refreshments will be served.

New photography exhibit during August

A collection of 35mm photography by local resident John Schuldheisz will be on display in the Ellendale Opera House Lobby & Gallery during August.

The exhibit will be open each Tuesday and Friday, Aug. 5 through Aug. 26, from noon until 5 p.m.

The exhibit sponsors at O.P.E.R.A., Inc., the Ellendale Area Community Foundation and Ellendale Tourism.
