Tell us your Opera House memories

O.P.E.R.A., Inc. needs your help to define how the Opera House has served the community and residents since its opening more than 100 years ago. We’re seeking to capture memories you have of attending events at the Opera House or frequenting businesses housed in the building.

Did you attend a dance in the auditorium? Were you one of the many who roller-skated in the auditorium on Sunday nights? Tell us about that.

What do you remember about Farmers’ Union Annual meetings? Or, theatrical plays or shows that were frequently performed in the auditorium?

Many remember shopping at Randalls’ Grocery, Coleman Clothing, Coast-to-Coast Hardware or other businesses located in the building. What experiences come to mind?

Did you attend a Boy Scout meeting there? What other social activities do you remember about our ‘grand old building’ that is being restored?
